5. Darrius Shepherd (GB)

Game: Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers (Monday, 10/5, 8:15 pm EST)

Packers WR2 Allen Lazard will miss extended time with a corps injury. With or without Lazard, Aaron Rodgers is cranking out an MVP start to the 2020 season. Davante Adams is said to be healing from a hamstring injury, but it’s unclear if he will be ready for Monday Night Football.

This could potentially leave Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Darrius Shepherd as the teams WR1 and WR2. Start Shepherd for some by-default targets.

6. Scott Miller (TB)

Game: Los Angeles Chargers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday, 10/4, 1:00 pm EST)

This game reeks of a rout — even without Leonard Fournette and Chris Godwin for the Buccaneers. Mike Evans is still a massive pass-catching option, and Tampa Bay has about three viable options at running back.

Tom Brady will throw the ball early in tabulating a lead; Scott Miller will pull down some of those catches in Godwin’s absence.

7. Hunter Renfrow (LV)

Game: Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders (Sunday, 10/4, 4:25 pm EST)

Uncharacteristically, the Buffalo Bills rank 26th in the business in passing yards allowed. It’s still early in the season, and this will probably stabilize for Sean McDermott’s bunch. Yet, for now, the Bills are allowing more aerial yards than usual.

For the Raiders, Hunter Renfrow is the team’s most-targeted wide receiver. Rookie Henry Ruggs III has been hurt, tight end Darren Waller and Renfrow have filed in the gaps.

Renfrow won’t have a humongous day, but he will put up some numbers worthy of the sleeper moniker.
