8. Darius Slayton (NYG)

Game: New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, 10/4, 4:05 pm EST)

The betting money is that the Rams run away with this matchup because life after Saquon Barkley has been tepid, at best.  But, we fantasy owners don’t really care about that. Slayton has been a feast-or-famine PPR option during his young career. This Sunday, we’re pulling up our chairs up to the California table for the feast.

The Rams rank 18th in the NFL in passing defense, a seeding that could remain in that territory when the Giants hit garbage time. Slayton has a big day.

9. Justin Jefferson (MIN)

Game: Minnesota Vikings at Houston Texans (Sunday, 10/4, 1:00 pm EST)

The Minnesota Vikings have been incredibly blessed in the last 25 years to see the rookie outlandishness displayed by Randy Moss and Adrian Peterson. For about an hour last weekend, LSU stud Justin Jefferson felt like the latest installment in the rich Vikings history of offensive stardom.

Kirk Cousins turned off the tunnel vision he showed for Adam Thielen during the new weeks prior, allowing Jefferson to start a case of Offensive Rookie of the Year.

More of the same is on the way to Houston for Week 4.

10. Russell Gage (ATL)

Game: Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers (Monday, 10/5, 8:15 pm EST)

This is a gamble.

Julio Jones appears to be on his way back to the Falcons lineup, where he will sit upon his throne once again. Russell Gage is questionable, but we’re gonna slightly bank our reputation on Gage playing.

Gage has notched 186 receiving yards with Jones out of the lineup. Despite heartbreaking, losing tendencies, Matt Ryan is building a rapport with Gage.

The Monday night showdown in Green Bay could be a catalyst for points, so let’s pencil Gage in for 10-15 of those.
