1. Carlos Hyde (SEA)

Game: Seattle Seahawks at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 10/4,1:00 pm EST)

Seahawks halfback Chris Carson is expected to play on Sunday in Miami, but he is somewhat hampered with “minor knee pain.” Seattle is cruising to start the 2020 season and a matchup with the Dolphins may not be all that spooky. There is a realm of thought that suggests Carson could take it easy and donate some touches to Carlos Hyde.

Very quietly, Hyde had over 1,000 rushing yards in 2019 with the Houston Texans. He’s a capable running back — which might just be what the doctor ordered for an on-the-mend Chris Carson.

Play Hyde in a pinch because he should get more touches than usual.

2. Latavius Murray (NO)

Game: New Orleans Saints at Detroit Lions (Sunday, 10/4,1:00 pm EST)

Unmistakably, the New Orleans Saints offense is spearheaded by Alvin Kamara with Michael Thomas missing time. So, let’s not get it twisted and pretend Murray is a threat to Kamara’s dominance.

Murray is, though, a fantastic complement to the slasher-style that Kamara brings to the Saints. The downhill aspect of Murray’s game is like a mini-version of what Derrick Henry does in Tennessee.

The Saints and Lions will probably score gobs of points on Sunday, so let’s tap Murray to nab 10+ PPR points
