Surefire “Flex” Starters

  • Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings running back, is rated No. 4 on my 3-RB “Surefire Starters” list for week 4., so he is definitely a “flex” starter.  He and the Vikings face the worst rush defense, courtesy of the Houston Texans, this weekend.  Expect at least 20 fantasy points from Cook.
  • D. K. Metcalf, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver., is averaging over 23 yards per reception. Metcalf is a solid WR2 to Tyler Lockett’s WR1.  Week 4 opponent Miami’is No. 21 in  points surrendered to opposing wideouts this season.

Riding the Bench

  • Darrynton Evans, Tennessee Titans running back, won’t be playing this weekend due to  COVID-19.  The game with Pittsburgh has been postponed.
  • Benny Snell Jr., Pittsburgh Steelers running back, won’t be playing this weekend due to  COVID-19.  The game with Tennessee  has been postponed.

Underrated

  • Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, has been targeted 26 times and made 21 catches for 230 yards and 1 touchdown. Cincinnati has erwarded Boyd by targeting him nore in each game.

 Overrated

  • Joe Mixon, Cincinnati running back, was  supposed to lead the Bengals running attack.  He is averaging 3.2 yards per carry and has no touchdowns..

Sleeper “Flex” of the Week

Amari Cooper

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, is not to blame for Dallas’ 1-2 start.  He has been targeted 35 times, has  25 catches for 267 yards and no touchdowns.  His 51.7 fantasy points make him a “flex”starter on my team.
