Surefire Starters at Team Defense/Special Teams

  • The Indianapolis Colts have moved up from No. 3 in team defense/special teams in the ESPN standard scoring system.  The Colts led with 50. fantasy points.

Riding the Bench

  • The Minnesota Vikings (0-3) are in the cellar.  They have surrendered 102 points in 3 games and they get to play the Houston Texans (0-3) this Sunday.

Underrated

  • Despite the injuries on the defensive line, the San Francisco 49ers have a top 10 defense.

Overrated

  • It is the Dallas Cowboys who have not played well defensively, which partially explains their 1-2 record.

Sleeper Team Defense/Special Teams of the Week

  • The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to severely test quarterback Justin Herbert and the Chargers this Sunday.
