The Browns got tricky in their opening drive against the Dallas Cowboys

Kevin Stefanski did say he planned on getting Landry and Beckham, Jr. more involved in the offense early in their Week 4 tilt at Jerryworld. We just didn’t think it would be quite like this.

Landry took a reverse early in the first quarter and had plenty of room to run. However, instead of taking the likely 20 yards in front of him, Landry ignored the over-pursuing Cowboys defense and threw a bomb to Odell Beckham, Jr. in the corner of the end zone in what’s sure to be one of the most memorable plays of Week 4.

Give the Browns credit, they’re not satisfied with their 2-1 start, and hope to make a statement on one of the game’s grandest stages on Sunday.

Are the Browns for real this season?

That has yet to be determined, especially considering the Browns last two wins came over the Bengals and Washington. Even a victory over the Cowboys on Sunday wouldn’t be a telltale sign that they’re a contender in the AFC.

Until Cleveland proves they can beat Pittsburgh and Baltimore, the Browns are still in the third tier of the AFC North. Heck, the Ravens already beat the Browns handily to start the season.

The Browns are a good story, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
