3 trades the Cowboys must make to salvage their season

No. 1: Dallas adds an elite safety
The Dallas Cowboys have an awful secondary. There’s nothing snarky to say about it and no pithy remarks that can be made. It’s awful.
Despite the fact that Earl Thomas, a Texas native and Cowboys fan who wants to play for the Cowboys, is out there on the market, Dallas chose to leave him alone and cut Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. In his stead, the likes of Xavier Woods, Darian Thompson, and rookie Trevon Diggs have been eviscerated by the rest of the league. A replacement is needed desperately. Luckily for Dallas, the perfect target might be there for the taking in Minnesota Vikings stud Anthony Harris.
Despite intercepting six passes last season, Minnesota was not ready to give Harris a long-term contract and shopped him around the league, often for a price as low as a fourth-round pick. While his price might’ve increased by just a tad due to the fact that the Vikings could play on Dallas’ desperation, a third and a fifth should be enough to acquire a player that a struggling Vikings team clearly doesn’t believe is worth building around long-term.
Dallas’ defensive issues are too deep for one player to fix, but Harris could go a long way towards helping them become respectable.
