Southampton have started the Premier League season by picking up three points in their first three games of the season. On Sunday, the Saints host West Brom at St. Mary’s Stadium. The Baggies have gotten off to a poor start in their return to the Premier League, picking up only one point.

After losing their first two games of the season, Southampton picked up their first victory last weekend, beating Burnley 1-0. Danny Ings scored the winner and has gotten off to a great start this season with three goals. Ings has been incredible since he joined Southampton in 2018. In 65 Premier League games with the Saints, Ings has scored 32 goals. Southampton’s attack will run through Ings, and he will be the key to the club picking up a second straight victory.

In their last game, West Brom got off to a terrific start, leading Chelsea 3-0 at halftime. However, the Baggies collapsed in the second half, allowing the Blues to steal a point. Manager Slaven Bilic will look to rebound against Southampton as his club looks for their first win of the season. Callum Robinson and Matheus Pereira will be the key to the Baggies attack. Robinson leads the club with two goals this season, while Pereira has two assists.
