5 replacements the Texans should hire for Bill O’Brien
By Scott Rogust
Greg Roman was a hot head coaching candidate this past offseason, and for good reason. After being promoted to the offensive coordinator position last season, the Baltimore Ravens offense became both electric and explosive with Lamar Jackson leading the way.
Roman was able to use Jackson’s speed as a component of the team’s running game, while also throwing off defenses with the quarterback’s arm. While many call Jackson a “running quarterback,” they forget that Jackson actually led the league in passing touchdowns with 36! And that was with a rather unimpressive receiving corps.
The Texans should have Roman at the top of their list, because he knows how to work with dual-threat quarterbacks like Watson.
