Here is a little teaser to keep you interested in the rest of the article: Brandon Aiyuk will not be the only former Arizona State receiver within this top five list.

This past NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers had to have known they needed to address the receiver position. Even with the team reaching the Super Bowl, this area needed a massive overhaul to give the offense another dynamic for defensive coordinators to plan for, and to give Jimmy Garoppolo some targets.

So, Aiyuk was the name called at pick 25 for the Niners.

Aiyuk was a big playmaker during his college days, and that trait has been put on display in his first few NFL games. In his first game in Week 2 against the New York Jets, he was eased into the action. But, a week later in the same stadium against the New York Giants, he went for 70 yards on five catches (eight targets), and he also had three rushes for 31 yards and a touchdown.

The Miami Dolphins will travel across the country for a Week 5 matchup against the 49ers. So far, the Dolphins have not been able to defend the pass, or receivers, too well. In Week 4, they surrendered 360 receiving yards to the Seahawks.

San Francisco has been putting points on the board for the last few weeks. After scoring just 20 In Week 1, they tossed 30+ on the board in Weeks 2 and 3.

Aiyuk is used in various ways on this offense, and you can expect Kyle Shanahan putting him in favorable matchups against the Dolphins this week.
