In both the 2018 and ’19 NFL Drafts, Bill Belichick selected two skill position players late in the first round. In 2018, it was former Georgia running back Sony Michel with pick 31. The next year, it was a receiver out of Arizona State named N’Keal Harry chosen at pick 32.

While Michel has put together back-to-back years of 900+ rushing yards in a limited role, or dealing with an injury, it has taken Harry a bit longer to get acclimated to the NFL. In his rookie year, he played just seven games and had 105 yards.

The good news, Harry has already surpassed that yard total this year, and he looks like he is ready to become a key player within this offense. Just like Belichick envisioned when he drafted the big-framed, physical receiver in 2019.

Per usual, projecting the fantasy performances of a player in a Belichick offense has always been tough. Harry saw 80+ percent of the team’s snaps in Weeks 1 and 2, then 67 percent in Week 3.

However, Harry had eight catches on 12 targets for 72 yards in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks. He has the potential to be a big part of this offense, which is why adding him this week is a must.

The Patriots will host the banged up Denver Broncos in Week 5. Denver has been vulnerable through the air. They have allowed the third-most passing yards in the NFL (1,025), and receivers have hauled in five scores against them.

It is no secret that the Patriots will look to be a run-first team each week. Especially now with Cam Newton. Although, with Newton’s availability unknown now, Harry’s value still stays the same.

But with a team struggling to defend the pass as much as the Broncos do, expect some big gains via the passing game. Harry could be the direct beneficiary.
