DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

Even if Larkin plays, I don’t trust that Efes will use him enough to pay off this price. Vasa Micic is a much safer play on this team, and even then, this isn’t a great matchup.

I know, I know. You’re looking for more in GPP circles. Facundo Campazzo led the team in scoring and packed the stat sheet in the opener. This is an even better matchup for Real Madrid here. Scottie Wilbekin had a nice game in round 1 despite only hitting three shots from the floor. The ceiling is probably highest on him among guards.

Lorenzo Brown and Nando de Colo were both big factors in round 1 and should be again against Efes. If Larkin is out, I like this matchup a little more. This seems to favor Brown just a bit more, but if Larkin plays, I might avoid this entirely. There are better places to attack.

I like Rodrigue Beaubois if Larkin is out again. If Larkin plays, he should take minutes from Krunoslav Simon, but this whole situation becomes a little too messy. There are better spots.

By EuroLeague standards, CSKA ran a pretty tight rotation in round 1. Only six players played more than 20 minutes. Mike James wasn’t worth the price, but Daniel Hackett and Darrun Hilliard look to be solid options if CSKA sticks to this tight of a rotation. They will likely be forced to with at least three players missing this game due to COVID.

Sam Van Rossom remains a good value play. The plethora of guards for Valencia caps his upside, but so long as his price stays here, Van Rossom is a decent play.

Chris Jones is the value we need on this slate. He came up huge for Tel Aviv in round 1. Tel Aviv seems to be going with a guard-heavy rotation here, which is good news for Jones and Elijah Bryant.
