Waiver Wire Tight Ends to target as bye weeks approach.

Dalton Schultz (32.6%): Why Dalton is not rostered in 75% of leagues is beyond me. Over the last 3 weeks, he has combined for 17 receptions, 208 yards and 2 TD’s. It’s no secret that the Cowboys defense is terrible. They need to throw the ball to stay in games. With all the talent on the outside, the middle of the field is wide open for Dalton to feast. If you are struggling with Tyler Higbee, Hunter Henry, or Noah Fant‘s injury, you should pick up Dalton and never look back. Already a top tight end on the year through 4 games.

Mo Alie-Cox (21.1%) & Cameron Brate (0.2%): Both players with only 1 catch this weekend for a touchdown. Efficiency. Alie-Cox continues to produce with the Colts. With bye weeks coming up, he is a good target off the Waiver Wire for TE needy teams. OJ Howard is out for the season with a torn achilles. Brate isn’t someone I am picking up off waivers and starting, but he is someone to monitor throughout the season as the Bucs are banged up on the offensive side of the ball.

As a recap, my favorite players to pick up off the Waiver Wire this week (in order) are:

(1) D’Ernest Johnson (immediate fill-in)

(2) Dalton Schultz (long-term value)

(3) Hunter Renfrow (consistent, short to long-term value)

Good luck heading into Week 5. The season is not over. If you are 0-4, we have some work to do but I’ve seen crazier things happen.
