Odell Beckham Jr – Cleveland Browns

Beckham has not been an elite fantasy receiver since his trade from the Giants to the Browns, but there have been plenty of indications that is about to change in recent weeks, with the clearest sign yet coming in Cleveland’s shootout win over the Cowboys.

Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield succeeded in connecting with Beckham during the Browns’ Week 2 win over the Bengals, which the receiver ended with four catches for 74 yards and a touchdown, but his production against the Cowboys was even more spectacular.

Beckham hauled in five Mayfield passes for 81 yards and a pair of receiving touchdowns and went on to clinch victory for Cleveland with an incredible 50-yard touchdown on a reverse.

He finished a thrilling contest with 38.4 fantasy points in PPR leagues and, with the Browns offense gathering steam, there is nothing to suggest he cannot threaten to produce similar performances in the coming weeks.

With 30 targets over the first four games, Beckham will have the opportunity to deliver productive displays and is likely to be aided by a hugely impressive Browns running game that should remain potent even with Nick Chubb on injured reserve.

The Browns appear on the cusp of finally living up to the hype and Beckham figures to play a significant part in them doing so while rewarding fantasy owners who kept the faith in the process.
