QB. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tom Brady. 48. 7. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

2020 stats: 1,122 yards | 65.2 completion % | 11 TDs | 4 INTs | 7.2 YPA | 60.4 QBR

Last Week: 11

Brady needed to move up. Yes, the pick-six was ugly, and Brady must understand he can’t throw out-breaking routes to the perimeter. However, he was masterful with five touchdown passes against a good defense in the Chargers. Brady’s combination of smarts, accuracy and lingering arm talent still have him as one of the better quarterbacks in football.

Pick Analysis. QB. Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen. 6. Scouting Report. player. 16

2020 stats: 1,326 yards | 70.9 completion % | 12 TDs | 1 INTs | 9.0 YPA | 87.1 QBR

Last Week: 6

Loved what we saw from Allen this week. He didn’t turn the ball over, consistently fund Stefon Diggs, looked for Cole Beasley in the red zone and largely got the ball out on time. If Allen can avoid the big mistakes, he’s going to be an MVP candidate come season’s end.

Dak Prescott. QB. Dallas Cowboys. 5. player. 123. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

2020 stats: 1,690 yards | 68.2 completion % | 9 TDs | 3 INTs | 8.4 YPA | 77.1 QBR

Last Week: 5

This is a weird ranking. Prescott is on pace to throw for 6,400 yards. He’s coming off three consecutive 450-yard games, an NFL record. And yet, he stays at No. 5. Why? So much of the production is coming when Dallas is down by massive margins, with defenses playing off. Prescott has been very good, but not otherworldly as the numbers suggest.

QB. Baltimore Ravens. 26. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Lamar Jackson. 4. player

2020 stats: 769 yards | 68.4 completion % | 7 TDs | 1 INTs | 7.8 YPA | 78.0 QBR

Last Week: 4

Jackson stays here because of his overall game. Hey, his 51-yard touchdown run was beautiful against Washington, and he did throw for 9.1 yards per attempt. However, and this will be said again, Jackson and the Ravens need more in the passing game to beat elite teams.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers. 3. player. 49

2020 stats: 1,221 yards | 70.5 completion % | 13 TDs | 0 INTs | 8.7 YPA | 90.2 QBR

Last Week: 3

The Packers have played four teams who can’t play defense, but the fact remains Rodgers is having an MVP-type season. Another four touchdowns on Monday night in the win over Atlanta, and he’s doing it with no-names on the outside. Phenomenal.

Kansas City Chiefs. Pick Analysis. QB. Patrick Mahomes. 2. player. 124. Scouting Report

2020 stats: 1,134 yards | 67.3 completion % | 11 TDs | 0 INTs | 7.5 YPA | 87.6 QBR

Last Week: 2

Mahomes was ho-hum on Monday night. New England kept him in check for most of the night and even dropped an easy interception. Still, Mahomes made some big plays late, particularly on intermediate routes with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. He just keeps winning.

36. Russell Wilson. 1. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Seattle Seahawks

2020 stats: 1,285 yards | 75.2 completion % | 16 TDs | 2 INTs | 9.4 YPA | 83.4 QBR

Last Week: 1

Wilson was finally slowed down … to the tune of 360 yards and two touchdowns. Seattle remains undefeated after winning in Miami, while Wilson did nothing to hurt his chances of winning the MVP for the first time in his eventual Hall of Fame career.
