Ronald Acuña Jr. crushes yet another leadoff homer for the Atlanta Braves.

Though he may be public enemy No. 1 for the Miami Marlins, Ronald Acuna Jr. just doesn’t care.

The superstar outfielder for the Atlanta Braves took Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara the opposite way on a disrespectful upper deck moonshot. As soon as he made contact, there was no doubt in Acuña’s mind that he took the Fish deep. That ball carried forever, as Atlanta struck first in this best-of-five NLDS between bitter NL East rivals. You have to see where this one landed.

This is why when bitter rivals face each other in October, it’s so much fun.

No, it didn’t take long for the Fish to answer, as Miguel Rojas took Braves starter Max Fried deep to left field and way over the Crawford box. These teams have already played each other 10 times this season with the Braves taking a slim 6-4 series lead. The winner of this rivalry series will get to face the winner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres series in the 2020 NLCS.

These were consistently the two best teams in the NL East this year. Atlanta won its division for the third year in a row, while Miami punched its first ticket into the postseason since winning it all way back in 2003. The Marlins are now 7-0 all time in postseason series, while the Braves just ended a lengthy postseason series losing streak by advancing for the first time since 2001.

This series will not yield a sweep, not may it a gentleman’s sweep, as this one is going five.
