1. NFL Week 5 best bets: Baltimore Ravens -13.5
The biggest line on the board in Week 5 is ironically our best bet of the week. The Ravens bounced back from their debacle against the Chiefs with a road win in Washington but it wasn’t exactly a lights-out performance from Baltimore.
Lamar Jackson showed off some serious moves against the Washington Football Team but didn’t have to get challenged in the air. Dwayne Haskins also passed for over 300 yards without turning the ball over yet the Ravens built a huge lead so that even a late Washington touchdown allowed them to cover the number.
Baltimore is favored by nearly two touchdowns when they take on the Bengals this week. Cincinnati is fresh off its first win of the season over Jacksonville and Joe Burrow has looked solid over his first four games, but Baltimore is still a huge step up in weight class for the rookie.
This game definitely has blowout potential as the Ravens will look to give Jackson a huge performance against a Bengals team he torched for five total touchdowns across two meetings last season. 13.5 points is a lot to lay but the Ravens can easily blow Cincinnati out of the water at home so trust Baltimore to get the job done here.
