2. John Brown was in the end zone, with the football

So what’s the catch? Brown clearly breaks the plane of the goal line, but the officials claimed he didn’t control the football while in the end zone. The Bills wideout was able to make the catch, but was ruled down at the one yard-line. Once again, this was not a game-defining catch, but how often have we seen teams botch the goal line package? It’s the Bills, anything is possible!

Josh Allen and Brown combined for an unreal play, with the Wyoming product dealing a dime into double coverage that likely gave Sean McDermott a heart attack. Allen trusted Brown to make the play, and though he wasn’t rewarded with six points, the Bills were set up in prime position to extend their lead. Buffalo would go on to win handily, giving the officiating an out in the process.

It’s a touchdown taken off the board for Brown, and an explanation avoided from the officiating crew. Just wait until this happens on a larger stage.
