DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

Nikola Mirotic is expensive because he’s worth it. It’s one thing for St. Petersburg to catch Efes off guard in the opener. It’s quite another to take a run at Barcelona. I love running Pangos against his former team here, but Mirotic is the best play on the slate, especially in cash games.

The Khimki frontcourt is even more depleted than in round 1 regardless of the status of Monroe. Jonas Jerebko is a great play here even if the matchup isn’t ideal. I’m concentrating more on the cheaper guys who should get more run like Devin Booker and Sergey Karasev.

As I expected, with Micov out Kyle Hines was the guy that stepped up in his absence. Shavon Shields is a decent option and likely has a higher ceiling than Hines. Use whichever one fits the format you play. Both are a viable option in GPP’s if you want to buck trends and pay up for guards.

Ioannis Papapetrou was an absolute monster in round 1. This is a tough matchup against Olympiacos, but you never know what’s going to happen between these two teams. It’s just like when the Cowboys play the Giants. This is a heated rivalry and Papapetrou could come up big again. The Olympiacos front didn’t play all that well in round 1.

Jalen Reynolds recorded a 25-minute double-double in his first EuroLeague game. He’s certainly worth using in a lineup or two today.

Arturas Gudaitis was the only St. Petersburg player besides Pangos and Rivers to play more than 20 minutes in round 1. However, guys like Alex Abrines and Simone Fontecchio likely have more upside if you need to go this cheap.

The Villuerbanne front played well in round 1 and has a great matchup against Milan in round 2. Charles Kahudi, Amine Noua, and Moustapha Fall all came up big with Micov out. This is a diluted situation though. Hines is the only one without significant risk. On this slate, I don’t think we need to dig this deep for value, but if you want, I would stick to the Villeurbanne front.
