Michael Brantley sliding into second from the base-cam angle will make even the toughest individual flinch.

No one thought the Houston Astros would make it to the ALCS, given their underwhelming performance in the 60-game regular-season. Yet, they did the unthinkable as they reached the Championship Series for the fourth consecutive year, which is nothing but a horror story for the other 29 fanbases in the MLB. As it turns out, the Astros took that literally.

In the top of the first inning of Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, Astros outfielder Michael Brantley reached first base on a single following Jose Altuve’s solo home run. Two batters later, Brantley stole second and when TBS cut to their base-cam angle, it seriously made every viewer flinch.

Is the second base camera okay?

Brantley hasn’t done much on the base-paths this season. But, he shocked the world with his steal in ALCS Game 1, which was his first of the entire postseason. That brings his grand total to three stolen bases, with the other two coming in the regular-season.

In Houston’s run to the ALCS, Brantley slashed .346/.393/.654 while recording nine hits, two home runs and seven RBI. This comes following a strong regular-season, where he posted a .300 batting average and .840 OPS.

For real though, can we get an update on that camera? Because it definitely look like it took some costly damage by the cleat of Brantley. If we were to assume, the Astros will be the ones paying for the repairs or for a replacement camera.
