2020 NFL power rankings, Week 6: Steelers survive, Chiefs fall
The team has some extra time to get ready for their Week 6 home tilt with the Broncos as Sunday’s game was postponed. And now it will be interesting to see who will be the Patriots’ quarterback will be vs. Denver. Things did not go well in Kansas City in Week 4 as quarterbacks Brian Hoyer and Jarrett Stidham turned over the football four times. In terms of positives, New England entered Week 5 with the league’s second-ranked ground attack.
Sean McVay’s team completed its four-game sweep of the NFC East with a convincing victory at Landover. Jared Goff wound up hitting on exactly 70 percent of his passes (21-of-30) for 309 yards and two TDs (1 interception). But the biggest story would prove to the play of defensive tackle Aaron Donald and a unit that finished with eight sacks (4 by defensive tackle Aaron Donald) while limiting the Washington offense to a paltry 108 total yards.
As of this writing, the Titans were schedule to host the 4-0 Buffalo Bills on Tuesday. And given the circumstances surrounding the club and the daily reports, it’s a situation that bears watching. On Sunday, the only team in the division to win was the Texans and the only other club in the AFC South with a winning record is the 3-2 Colts. Tennessee’ run defense is off to a bad start this season and could have its hands full with the Bills’ ground attack.
