DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

As per usual, Nikola Mirotic is the prize of the entire slate. You have to pay $3,000 more for him that any other forward, but he just might be worth it. Besides, with all of the guard value, it wont break you to use him.

Rokas Giedraitis has opened this season on a tear so far. His production hasn’t been far below Mirotic and he is much cheaper. If you find yourself on a budget in GPP’s, Giedraitis is probably the better play. In GPP’s, he may be anyway.

The Valencia frontcourt hasn’t quite figured out how to produce together. When Bojan Dublejevic had a big game, Derrick Williams was a non-factor and vice versa. Don’t play that game. Use Ioannis Papapetrou at a lower price in a plus matchup as well. However, I’m not opposed to using Mike Tobey up front for Valencia, although his price certainly makes us think about it a little more.

That’s two big game in a row for Moustapha Fall. Villuerbanne’s frontcourt didn’t have a dominant player last season, but Fall may be making that role his own this year. This is a great matchup with Athens and he is rather cheap, all things considered.

Alex Poythress, the former Kentucky star, is making a name for himself in St Petersburg. He got lots of opportunities in round 2 and should again with St. Petersburg so thin right now.

Simone Fontecchio has looked good in his first two EuroLeague matches, but I still prefer Achille Polonara for a value play at forward. However, if the St. Petersburg game gets moved, Fonteccho or Alec Peters are suitable substitutes.

If you want to piggyback on Red Star’s hot game, Ognjen Kuzmic is a great option on the cheap. He not only scored well last week in the big win, but he did so in the opening round against Fenerbahce as well.
