Start:

Antonio Gibson, WAS, @ NYG

Antonio Gibson has become a legitimate threat for the Washington Football Team and should get more work moving forward. And even better is that a matchup vs. the New York Giants should see him ball. The QB situation going on in Washington is not welcoming, but the idea that Alex Smith could be at the helm moving forward only helps his value with Smith’s preference to check down to the running back.

Jonathan Taylor, IND, vs. CIN

By now, you probably think Jonathan Taylor is a must-start but he has somewhat struggled lately. No need to fear, as a matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals could deliver a great game for Taylor, making him a borderline RB1 this week considering his workload.

Chase Edmonds, ARI, @ DAL

Time to double down on Chase Edmonds. In last week’s I hyped up Edmonds to have a solid week and he delivered 20 PPR points. I don’t see a reason he can’t do that again in a game vs. the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night that is sure to be high-scoring.

Sit:

Joe Mixon, CIN, @ IND

Joe Mixon has had a weird season. He has totaled among the most points in a week with his 42 point output in Week 4 but otherwise has been okay at best. A matchup with the Colts should be one of those okay weeks as the Colts front seven are sure to get through more than once, stopping Mixon in the backfield. I wouldn’t expect him to have a good game and would even respect the benching this week.

Rams Running Backs, @ SF

I don’t think anyone has the patience to deal with this Rams backfield anymore. Malcolm Brown, Darrell Henderson, and Cam Akers will continue to share the workload and each week will surely be different than the next. Sit them all this week.

Devonta Freeman, NYG, vs. WAS

Devonta Freeman has some life in those legs. Well, at least for fantasy football purposes. He has recorded 10 or more fantasy points in two straight weeks and could be a candidate to do that again. Too bad that the Washington defense is a stingy one, leaving it better to put him on the bench rather than the starting lineup for this game.
