Still, Minnesota needs more, considering Jefferson is the league’s best offensive rookie and Thielen is an elite possession receiver.

Mayfield was great in the first half. Then he threw for 19 yards in the second half and needed Cleveland’s much-maligned defense to finish off the Colts. Also, the two interceptions remain an issue. Mayfield has been hidden in Kevin Stefanski’s offense, which could be a problem Sunday against the Steelers.

Minshew has limited weapons, a poor line and questionable coaching. He’s not a star, but he’s a solid NFL quarterback who has room to grow.
