Running Back: Mike Davis $7,500

Just keep riding this train until the wheels fall off. Mike Davis has been putting up Christian McCaffrey type numbers every single week. Since taking over for the most expensive player in fantasy, Davis has scored a minimum of 19 points every single game. The Panthers are clearly playing their offense through Davis until McCaffrey comes back.

Teddy Bridgewater is using Davis as his outlet on each and every play. He had a season-high ten targets last week against the Atlanta Falcons. He also has a touchdown in every game he’s been a starter. This is consistency on the highest level.

Davis is going up against a Chicago Bears defense that has been up and down against the run. Ronald Jones broke out for 100 yards against them last week. The Bears allow 113 yards per game on the ground. It’s not atrocious, but it’s definitely not one of the best defenses in the league like the Bears once were.

Davis is a sure thing in fantasy at this point. There aren’t many other players that give what he does on a weekly basis, and with a week with so many stars off the board, it makes a lot of sense to spend the money to get him.
