Ozuna has plenty of power, and he put it on full display for Kershaw

The Braves lineup has plenty of power from top to bottom, and while Ronald Acuña leads the way and Freddie Freeman is the likely NL MVP, Ozuna led the National League in both home runs and RBIs. He’s a free agent at the end of this season, and he’s made himself a ton of bread for the coming offseason. That trend continued on Thursday night, when Ozuna delivered an absolute bomb off Clayton Kershaw to tie NLCS Game 4 at 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth.

Ozuna’s solo shot was a no-doubter, and even Acuña knew it was gone from the sound of the bat.

While runs will be hard to come by off a future Hall of Famer like Kershaw, the Braves are doing well early in keeping the Dodgers off the board. Atlanta’s lineup gets most of the accolades in this series, but the Dodgers group, including the likes of Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger and Corey Seager, is among the most explosive in the NL.

Atlanta always faced a tough task against the Dodgers, but should they lose Game 4 the momentum will be squarely on LA’s side. That’s something they’d rather avoid at this point in the postseason.
