5. Preston Williams (MIA)

Game: New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 10/18, 4:05 pm EST)

Don’t look now, but the Miami Dolphins are actually not a bad football team. Conversely, they will host the Jets — who are about as bad as it gets — in Week 6. Ryan Fitzpatrick has performed as a Top 10 fantasy quarterback, and those stats have to go somewhere. Preston Williams was a stud last week racking up over 100 yards and a score.

If he could get behind the 49ers defense, he can do the same to New York.

6. Sammy Watkins (KC)

Game: Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills (Monday, 10/19, 5:00 pm EST)

It’s fun to select Kansas City Chiefs players as sleepers as anybody getting the football from Patrick Mahomes feels like a shoo-in for success. The trick is to find the right man for that particular week.

We’ll go with Watkins in Week 6. He scored in Week 5 but otherwise had a pedestrian showing. He will tally more yards against the Bills and might even find paydirt yet again.

7. Christian Kirk (ARI)

Game: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys (Monday, 10/19, 8:15 pm EST)

Death, taxes, and Dallas Cowboys shootouts. That’s the company line this week.

Christian Kirk is finally getting healthy, and DeAndre Hopkins needs a coherent running mate to catch Kyler Murray’s passes. Kirk has the talent to fill that role, and we’re picking him to score in Dallas.
