Raheem Mostert has made a name for himself as one of the more underrated players in the NFL. Here’s a good reason why.

If anything, the inconsistent offensive play has been the storyline for the San Francisco 49ers for the 2020 season. Whether under center, at the receiver position or injuries in the backfield, the 2-3 49ers have stumbled mere months following their Super Bowl LIV appearance.

That being said, perhaps runs like this give the fans out in the Bay hope for a brighter tomorrow. Raheem Mostert is making sure that this season isn’t a waste.

During a run on Sunday’s night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, Mostert showed the nation that eating your Wheaties can get you to the NFL. Bulldozing Rams linebacker Micah Kiser into the dirt, it was the run that went viral on social media.

And fans seem to agree that Mostert’s magical takedown is one for the ages.

Mostert, 28, has been one of the more consistent offensive weapons over the past two seasons for Kyle Shanahan’s offense. Over his past two games, the former journeyman has tallied 148 rushing yards off 23 carries and scored a touchdown.

Last season while splitting carries with Tevin Coleman and current Miami Dolphins’ Matt Breida, Mostert took control as the leader of pack. He finished the 2019 campaign with 772 on 137 carries and scored 10 total touchdowns.
