Someone put $20k down for the Dodgers to win Game 7
Just before the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves step onto the field for the NLCS Game 7 showdown a bettor placed a $20,000 wager on the Dodgers to win and advance to the World Series. If he or she wins they’ll earn $32,701. That’s not too shabby of a payout on what some might consider a pretty safe bet.

Then again, we are talking about the Dodgers who have a history of tanking when it’s go-time.
If the Dodgers do win on Sunday night it will be somewhat of a comeback story, though the Dodgers are not the underdogs. They were heavy favorites before the season even started, then again when the new shortened season was announced and maintained that status throughout the season. Until now.
The Dodgers struggled against the Braves
They absolutely bombed in three showings, embarrassing themselves more than once then battled back to keep the series alive for a Game 7.
Whoever put the bet on the Dodgers must feel confident in the team, let’s hope their confidence pays off in the long run. Whoever wins on Sunday will face the Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series.
