1. Add a power-hitting outfielder

For a Braves team that lives and dies by the home run ball and loves to get young players in on the action, they give a surprising amount of playing time to the likes of Ender Inciarte and Nick Markakis. Acuña, Adam Duvall and Marcell Ozuna were quite the nasty offensive trio, but Duvall has major regression potential at 2021 and Ozuna might leave in free agency. Atlanta needs to consider making a pretty seismic move if they want this lineup to enter the elite tier they need to reach to get over the hump.

The Braves are going to be an offensive team, so getting another outfielder that is actually a threat on the offense and can help take some of the mountain of pressure that is currently on Acuna’s back away has to be at or near the top of the list of offseason priorities. With Ozuna a free agent that could easily bolt Atlanta for a team that will either pay him more or give him a chance to DH, Atlanta’s lineup shouldn’t be set in stone.
