DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks October 22

DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:
Rokas Giedraitis still looks underpriced for the numbers he is putting up. When you compare him with the rest of the top tier of forwards, no one can come close to his output. The only exception might be Ioannis Papapetrou in a favorable matchup with Fenerbache. Still, it’s not that much better than the matchup for Giedraitis and the price difference isn’t enough to make me want to move down.
Tornike Shengelia is still one of the better cash plays, but he’s not that much cheaper than Giedraitis. I’d rather look to Konstantinos Mitoglu in another favorable matchup to see if he can match his monster game of round 4.
With all of the injuries at guard for Milan, Shavon Shields, who played guard in college at Nebraska, looks to pick up a lot of the extra minutes. He is capable of big games, but his floor is still rather low for the middle tier. Achille Polonara is the much safer choice.
Joffrey Lauvergne’s bout with COVID didn’t slow him down much. He’s back to racking up 20 DraftKings point games and has a solid matchup here against Valencia. Nigel Hayes is taking some of the minutes, but they are both very productive on a per-minute basis.
There is still value up front in the Milan-St. Peterburg game. I don’t really trust Kyle Hines again, but Zach Leday looks pretty safe. So is Alex Poythress on the other side. He’ll continue to see a ton of minutes with both Ponitka and Gudaitis sidelined.
Ognjen Kuzmic still doesn’t start, but he is playing about half the game for Belgrade and playing well while he’s in there. Both he and Georgios Papagiannis are strong options if you need to go cheap at forward.
You’d better jump on Zoran Dragic at this price while you still can. Baskonia finally turned him loose against Khimki and he responded with 22.75 DraftKings points. That’s a great output for the price. Keep an eye out on the status of Alec Peters though. That could cut into the production from Zoran a bit if Peters plays.
