NFL quarterback rankings, Week 7: Ryan Tannehill is rolling
2020 stats: 1,442 yards | 73.1 completion % | 11 TDs | 1 INTs | 8.2 YPA | 80.4 QBR

Carr is quietly having an excellent campaign, showcased by his tour de force against the Chiefs in Week 5 at Arrowhead Stadium. If he can slay the Buccaneers and their nasty front on Sunday Night Football, he’ll really start changing the national narrative.
2020 stats: 1,331 yards | 71.3 completion % | 9 TDs | 3 INTs | 7.8 YPA | 77.5 QBR

Brees needs to come out of the Saints bye week with some gusto. The numbers aren’t bad, but the film shows a 41-year-old who has played timid. Yes, Michael Thomas has been missing since Week 1, but the inactivity downfield has been alarming. It needs to change for New Orleans to reach its potential.
2020 stats: 1,178 yards | 69.1 completion % | 11 TDs | 1 INTs | 7.1 YPA | 60.1 QBR
Last Week: 11
Roethlisberger played an efficient game against the Browns in a 38-7 win. He only had 22 attempts and hit on three passes of 20+ air yards, including a touchdown. However, all of his other 11 completions were quick-hitters. He’s been much more apt to throw short in 2020.
2020 stats: 1,843 yards | 65.2 completion % | 11 TDs | 3 INTs | 7.6 YPA | 68.9 QBR
Last Week: 10
The Falcons win, the Falcons win! Even now, I keep checking back to make sure they didn’t blow the lead. Ryan was excellent, hooking up with Julio Jones for 137 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the 40-23 triumph. Atlanta has been brutal this year, but Ryan has remained a quality starter.
2020 stats: 1,570 yards | 67.4 completion % | 10 TDs | 4 INTs | 8.3 YPA | 67.7 QBR
Last Week: 6
Goff is great when the playcalls are rolling and the run game is humming. When that isn’t happening, he’s decidedly average. Against the 49ers, Goff threw 38 times for 198 yards, rarely threatening San Francisco with any real vertical attack.
2020 stats: 1,786 yards | 68.5 completion % | 13 TDs | 5 INTs | 8.9 YPA | 72.1 QBR
Last Week: 8
Watson is a great player on a horrible team. Imagine scoring 36 points on the road against a quality defense and still losing because the defense allowed more than 600 yards of total offense. The Texans are a disaster, and Watson is the only reason to tune in each week.
