Scouting Report. Josh Allen. player. 16. Pick Analysis. QB. Buffalo Bills. 7

2020 stats: 1,711 yards | 67.1 completion % | 15 TDs | 4 INTs | 7.9 YPA | 84.9 QBR

Last Week: 4

The Bills had plenty of issues against Kansas City on Monday night, but Allen was one of them. Before padding his stats to mediocrity with a 5-of-5 drive for 56 yards and a touchdown, the fringe MVP candidate was 9-of-22 for 66 yards. Not ideal.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson. 26. QB. 6. player

2020 stats: 1,135 yards | 63.0 completion % | 10 TDs | 2 INTs | 7.0 YPA | 76.6 QBR

Last Week: 5

Jackson ran for 107 yards in the win over Philadelphia, but the passing game remains lacking. When Baltimore plays the best teams — and let’s be real, that’s how we grade the Ravens — Jackson will need to consistently win with his arm outside the numbers. The film has shown precious little of that.

Tom Brady. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. 48. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 5. player

2020 stats: 1,541 yards | 64.1 completion % | 14 TDs | 4 INTs | 6.9 YPA | 66.4 QBR

Last Week: 7

Brady didn’t do much against Green Bay. He found Rob Gronkowski five times for 78 yards and a score, while avoiding any turnovers. All told, Brady is having another fine season and should only get better as his weapons continue to mend. This is the same Brady we’ve seen for 20 years.

Ryan Tannehill. 35. Tennessee Titans. 4. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB

2020 stats: 1,368 yards | 69.9 completion % | 13 TDs | 2 INTs | 7.9 YPA | 83.3 QBR

Last Week: 9

Tannehill has been ridiculous since becoming the starter in Tennessee. Last week, he threw for 361 yards and four touchdowns, launching one deep shot after the next in a 42-36 overtime win over Houston. He’s quite simply been one of the best quarterbacks in football over the last calendar year.

Scouting Report. Green Bay Packers. 3. 49. Pick Analysis. QB. Aaron Rodgers. player

2020 stats: 1,374 yards | 65.5 completion % | 13 TDs | 2 INTs | 7.9 YPA | 86.0 QBR

Last Week: 2

Rodgers has to slip a spot after gaining it last week. He threw a pair of ugly interceptions including only the third pick-six of his career. Tampa Bay hit him early and often, and without the run game, he was the emperor exposed. However, the Texans, who gave up more than 600 yards to the Titans, are on deck.

Scouting Report. QB. Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes. Pick Analysis. 2. player. 124

2020 stats: 1,699 yards | 65.8 completion % | 15 TDs | 1 INTs | 7.8 YPA | 85.7 QBR

Last Week: 3

Different style for Mahomes on Monday. He rarely threw deep, instead shredding Buffalo underneath of its big-cushion zones. The 2018 MVP finished 21-of-26 for 225 yards with two touchdowns, consistently moving the chains and ultimately, earning a 26-17 win.

player. 36. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Russell Wilson. 1. Seattle Seahawks

2020 stats: 1,502 yards | 72.8 completion % | 19 TDs | 3 INTs | 8.4 YPA | 81.8 QBR

Last Week: 1

Wilson had the week off but certainly keeps his spot here. Through six weeks, it’s silly to make an argument for anybody else as league MVP.
