College football DFS picks October 23: D’Vonte is worth the Price

College football DFS wide receiver picks October 23:
Top Tier:
Austin Watkins is the type of receiver that can change a game. This UAB offense is now used to having Lucero under center and is hitting their stride. That makes Watkins the best receiver on the slate despite the tough matchup.
I really like Keylon Stokes, but I don’t know how much Tulsa is going to throw. This is still a run-first team facing a team that has had issues stopping the run.

Middle Tier:
Trae Barry is the leading receiver for Jacksonville State by nearly double second place. Considering FIU’s problems in the secondary and the fact that the Gamecocks should have to throw to try to stay in this game, Barry might actually be worth this tag.
Iowa State transfer Josh Johnson has more touchdowns in two games this year than he did all of last season. He is finally comfortable in this offense and is the home run threat alongside Stokes that Tulsa needs. He’s a strong middle tier option.
It doesn’t matter who is under center for FIU. They will find Bryce Singleton. He carries risk because this QB situation is a mess. If Norton manages to play most of the game though, there is significant upside.
Bargain Shoppers:
With McCloud showing the Bulls how to fly the friendly skies, DeVontres Dukes is a dangerous player in the bargain tier. So is Latrell Williams on the other side. Omarion Dollison is the guy that takes the top off the defense, but against Tulsa, I’m leaning more towards Dukes, the possession guy.
Mitchell Brinkman is just $3,200 and he has 14 receptions on the season. He’s worth a flier on targets alone. He could see more than usual facing a tougher Tulsa pass defense.
