College football DFS wide receiver picks October 24:

Top Tier:

DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle are both going to have good games again, but John Metchie in the value tier is the safest way to get a piece of the Alabama offense. Smith is a game-breaker though and has the highest ceiling of any receiver.

Elijah Moore could be in for a big game. If you believe that Corral bounces back, pair him with Moore. Kenny Yeboah and his lack of involvement last week terrify me though. Moore is probably the only Ole Miss receiver on my radar.

I trust Tylan Wallace, but I don’t trust his quarterbacks. Iowa State is worse against the run and the Cowboys have two backs that can shred this defense. That said, Iowa State has been vulnerable to deep balls. If the quarterback(s) can manage to get the ball to Wallace, he should have at least one touchdown.

Middle Tier:

Marvin Mims is the closest thing Oklahoma has to a game breaking receiver. I trust him more than any other Oklahoma DFS option besides Stogner, but there is still risk involved here. Risk being that the TCU defense could fluster Rattler and force him to throw short passes.

I like Jordan Addison. I really like Jordan Addison if Pickett it out again. Yellen threw to Addison all the time because he runs the shorter routes. That’s going to come into play against the Irish. Addison is a strong play on volume alone.

Right now I’d play Eli Stove over any other Auburn receivers. Nix looks to him more often, but this passing game has underachieved all season. Any piece of this is far from a sure thing.

A disappointing game for the TCU passing offense against K-State is going to temper ownership. It already lowered the prices, which is great for us. Oklahoma can’t cover anyone. All they do is interfere. Taye Barber and Nebraska transfer J.D. Spielman (if he plays) could both be in for big games at really cheap prices.

Bargain Shoppers:

DraftKings didn’t learn anything from last Saturday. Ontaria Wilson is still super cheap and still the number one receiver for Florida State. He’s the only one I have a real interest in against Louisville, but Camren McDonald as a safety valve is looking promising too.

Teams have been able to take the top off of the Kansas State defense on occasion. That’s why I like Andrew Parchment as a punt. Kansas isn’t a good team by any means, but Parchment is a burner and can rip off a long touchdown. All he needs is one at this price.

Okay, the Florida State defense is good, but not great. Dez Fitzpatrick at this price is absurd. He’s worth a dart throw here. So is Iowa State tight end Charlie Kolar. He’s a favorite red zone target.
