4. Fantasy football predictions: Pittsburgh frustrates Derrick Henry, to a degree

When Derrick Henry is subdued by his current standards, that translates to about 50 yards rushing. We’re picking the Steelers to enact a gameplan to align with this.

For starters, Henry is probably due for a mini-hangover after bombarding the Houston Texans en route to ensuring the Titans remain among the league’s undefeated teams. Henry rumbled for 212 rushing yards and two touchdowns — one of them a game-winner. Additionally, Henry chipped in 52 receiving yards, which is quite a few for Henry, a bonafide downhill runner. He was extraordinary vs. Houston.

The Steelers rushing defense and Titans defense are about as similar as Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders. Pittsburg allows 66 rushing yards per game (2nd in the NFL) whereas Houston nearly triples this mark at 178 yards per game (last in the NFL). Henry can assuredly bask in his glory from Week 6, but Week 7 will be a “back to reality” sort of arrangement.

This showdown will be a battle of the AFC’s undefeated teams. Strangely, it does not seem to be receiving that much national hype. It should. Early home-field advantage implications hang in the balance.

Pittsburgh will slightly slow down the speedy anvil known as Henry and win the ballgame.
