Detroit Lions (2-3) at Atlanta Falcons (1-5), 1:00 pm

Lions: The club is on the road for the fourth time in six games and it’s worth noting both of the Lions’ victories this season have come away from home – victories at Arizona and at Jacksonville. And newcomers Adrian Peterson and rookie D’Andre Swift have keyed an improved running game (117.4 average) that has aided Matthew Stafford.

Falcons: Raheem Morris’ club cut off to a good start last week at Minnesota and notched its first victory of 2020. Quarterback Matt Ryan continues to pile up the passing yards. He’s thrown for 1,843 yards and 11 scores opposed to three interceptions and takes aim at a Detroit defense that has allowed 10 touchdown passes in five contests.

Cleveland Browns (4-2) at Cincinnati Bengals (1-4-1), 1:00 pm

Browns: It’s the second meeting of the season between these rivals and the Browns (outscored a combined 76-13 in their 2 losses) are looking to sweep this AFC North series for the second time in three years. Back in Week 2 on a Thursday night at Cleveland, Kevin Stefanski’s club rolled up 434 total yards and held on for a 35-30 victory.

Bengals: Cincinnati’s defense continues to be the team’s albatross and hasn’t shown much improvement from a year ago. The Bengals are 27th in the league against the run one year after finishing dead last in the NFL in this department in 2019. And Zac Taylor’s club surrendered 215 yards on the ground in the Week 2 loss at Cleveland.
