Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5) at Los Angeles Chargers (1-4), 4:25 pm

Jaguars: Doug Marrone’s team has now dropped five games in a row and in each of those setbacks, the Jaguars have allowed at least 30 points. One of the big issues has been an ineffective pass rush that has produced just five sacks in six outings. The clubs has already allowed 20 offensive touchdowns, one dozen of those through the air.

Chargers: In each of their last two games, Anthony Lynn’s team owned 17-point leads and wound up falling short to the Buccaneers and Saints, respectively. Meanwhile, the Chargers are also a team whose pass rush has been a bit underwhelming to date as defensive end Joey Bosa has exactly half of the club’s eight sacks in five contests.

San Francisco 49ers (3-3) at New England Patriots (2-3), 4:25 pm

49ers: Dating back to last season, Kyle Shanahan’s club is 9-1 on the road. That includes this year’s sweep of the Jets and Giants on consecutive Sundays in Weeks 2 and 3, respectively. Meanwhile, San Francisco’s run defense has shown some improvement from a year ago and will be tested by New England’s second-ranked rushing attack

Patriots: New England’s defense did not surrender a touchdown in last week’s home loss to the Broncos. In fact, the club has allowed just four offensive TDs in its last three contests since giving up five aerial scores to Seattle’s Russell Wilson in a 35-30 Sunday night loss in Week 2. Bill Belichick’s team has 10 takeaways in five outings in ’20.
