Late College football DFS picks October 24: Dax attack

College football DFS running back picks October 24:
Top Tier:
I’m in no hurry to run Ulysses Bentley at that Cincinnati front, who did an outstanding job on Army. Gerrid Doaks is a guy you want to spend your money on. SMU’s run defense is a lot better than their pass defense, but the unit as a whole has struggled.
Kevin Harris could be in for another huge game here against LSU. Missouri was able to run on LSU and Harris is better than any back Missouri has. Until LSU proves they can stop someone, attack them in DFS.
The Virginia rush defense hasn’t been what it has been in previous years. Cam’ron Harris could have a big game here if Miami rides him. They really have no reason not to if they take a big lead.
Middle Tier:
The Texas State run defense is awful as well, so both BYU backs are in play. That’s also the problem. There are so many good pieces of this offense that it’s hard to decide just who to use.
I like how Josh Johnson is very active in the passing game as well as the run game. South Alabama’s defense has had lapses at times this year. My issue here is that I have real questions as to whether the passing game can keep the Jaguars from stacking the box against Johnson.
If my thoughts about Harris are true, that’s going to mean a larger workload for Sincere McCormick. The guy ran for triple digits on Army. There’s a lot of talent here against an iffy defense.
Bargain Shoppers:
Carlos Davis could be a sneaky pick with all of the talented plays in front of him. I do expect a big game from the South Alabama offense here, so stacking Davis with Trotter, Tolbert, and Baker could be a poor man’s BYU stack.
Running back is absolutely barren at the bottom on this slate. Katoa is a decent dart throw and the only one that comes without serious risk. There’s risk with Katoa too, but I have a feeling BYU will take to the ground once they’re up a few touchdowns. That can only help Katoa.
