Cam Jordan takes hilarious shot at Antonio Brown when asked about impending matchup

The New Orleans Saints defensive end was asked about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ signing of Antonio Brown, and he couldn’t help but take a shot.
When it comes to dominating NFL headlines, no team did that more this week than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Already boasting loaded offense, the Buccaneers decided to sign embattled wide receiver Antonio Brown to add to their receiving corps of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. However, he’s still serving his eight-game suspension and still has to go to court regarding sexual assault allegations made against him.
After the New Orleans Saints defeated the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Saints defensive end Cam Jordan was asked about facing the Brown and the Bucs in Week 9 by Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk. Jordan responded by saying that Brown has to make it to his Week 9 debut first.
AB slated to make debut in Week 9
While Brown received a glowing endorsement and letter of recommendation by quarterback Tom Brady, the receiver isn’t exactly in the clear. As Jordan points out, Brown has to make it to Week 9 first. He could, hypothetically, be cut before the big divisional matchup for a variety of reasons.
Brown is slated to go to trial this December regarding the the sexual assault lawsuit filed by his former trainer, Brittney Taylor. The NFL can impose additional punishment to Brown based off any ruling in the case. In fact, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said if the allegations are true, then the wideout won’t be with the team any longer. So, “AB” has a short leash in Tampa Bay.
If Brown is set to debut with the Buccaneers in Week 9, the Saints defense will have their work cut out for them. Entering Week 7, the Saints have surrendered 15 passing touchdowns to opponents, the second-most in the NFL.
Jordan isn’t exactly lying when he says that he’ll worry about Brown once he steps on the field for Week 9, because there’s plenty that can happen that could prevent him from doing so. But, you have to believe that Brown will be on his best-behavior, because this could be his last chance to remain in the NFL.
