Le’Veon Bell tweeted out his excitement following his Chiefs debut.

The Kansas City Chiefs were already a stacked team before acquiring Le’Veon Bell. Now he is a luxury on that offense.

The Chiefs steamrolled the Denver Broncos on Sunday by a final score of 43-16 on a day when the offense only needed 286 total yards. The Broncos couldn’t stop turning the ball over and Bell only ran the ball six times. Clyde Edwards-Helaire only had eight carries so it’s not like Bell was ignored.

Bell left the New York Jets and saw his new team improve to 6-1. And he didn’t even have to do much. He essentially got the day off and his tweet following the win should have Chiefs fans pumped about Bell’s motivation in his new town.

Bell is happy to be a Chief

Bell sat out the entire 2018 season and was relegated to the background with the Jets in 2019 and at the start of the 2020 season. Now he gets to play with the Chiefs and it is obvious why he is excited.

Sunday’s win over the Broncos was a prime example of the Chiefs’ greatness. Patrick Mahomes and the running backs barely had to do anything as the defense and special teams won the game. Usually, 43 points from the Chiefs means a big day from the quarterback.

Bell getting six carries was a nice warm-up and fans should expect a bit more out of him next week. Why? The Chiefs are taking on Bell’s old team in the Jets and the running back surely wants to show Adam Gase he is a fool for letting such talent leave New York.

Christmas came early for Le’Veon Bell in first carry as a Chief. dark. Next

The running back has been called selfish and a distraction in the past. Chiefs fans seeing how excited he is to be in Kansas City, even after a small workload, will have fans knowing the team made the right decision to bring him aboard.
