When these teams met in Week 2 on a Thursday night at Cleveland, rookie quarterback Joe Burrow led the club to 30 points in a five-point loss. In this rematch, the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft threw for 406 yards and three scores (1 interception) and also ran six times for 34 yards and one touchdown.

But the defense once again couldn’t hold up its end of the bargain and the Browns rallied in the closing seconds to hand Cincinnati another tough loss.

The Eagles were at home for the second time in five days and were facing only their second divisional foe of the season. And the Birds trailed 21-10 with just over six minutes to play.

Quarterback Carson Wentz threw his 10th interception of the season but also finished the evening with 359 yards through the air and a pair of fourth-quarter scores to Greg Ward and Boston Scott, respectively. And Philadelphia beat the Giants for the eighth straight time.

Losers of their last two games, the Patriots hosted the San Francisco 49ers. And for the first time since 2002, the franchise is riding a three-game losing streak. In fact, the Patriots have been outscored a combined 77-28 in their setbacks to the Chiefs, Broncos and 49ers, respectively.

Quarterback Cam Newton struggled, hitting on just nine of his 15 throws for 98 yards and three interceptions. The New England offense finished with only 241 total yards.
