Joe Burrow – Cincinnati Bengals

That first overall pick Burrow has won just one game in his NFL career is no reflection of the level of play he has produced seven weeks into his rookie season. The 2019 Heisman Trophy winner was extremely unfortunate to come out on the wrong end of an AFC North shootout with the Cleveland Browns.

Burrow could not have done much more to get the Bengals the win over their Ohio rivals. Though he did toss an interception and lose a fumble, from a fantasy perspective those turnovers were minor footnotes in a superb display in which he threw for 406 yards and three touchdowns, including what looked to be the game-winner to Giovani Bernard in the fourth quarter.

The former LSU star also ran for a score in the 37-34 defeat, his 34.6 points the most he has accrued in fantasy this year.

Prior to Sunday, Burrow had thrown for just six touchdowns in as many games. While his stellar effort against the Browns should not lock him in as a true fantasy QB1, it should increase his appeal as a streaming option in Week 8, when Burrow and the Bengals face a Tennessee Titans defense that has given up over 400 yards of total offense in three games this season.
