1. Trade for Josh Hader

The likes of Victor Gonzalez and Blake Treinen helped a Dodgers bullpen get through some rough moments in the postseason, but the declining performance of Kenley Jansen puts closer high atop their list of offseason needs. If Friedman wants to shop at Neiman Marcus again this offseason, he could swing a deal for Milwaukee Brewers closer Josh Hader this offseason.

While Hader tailed off a bit near the end of this year, he didn’t give up a hit in his first 12 appearances this season, showing that he is as unhittable as any relief pitcher in the game. Having said that, Devin Williams was the best reliever in the NL last year, and trading Hader could help the Brewers enough ammunition to beef up a roster that is looking noticeably threadbare in some areas.

Jansen’s time as the closer is nearing its end, as it seemed like there was no one Roberts wanted to go to less near the end of that series than Jansen. Getting Hader will take quite the package considering Milwaukee themselves have eyes on the postseason, but picking up the left-hander’s unhittable slider could keep the Dodgers at the top of the MLB mountain.
