New York Jets (0-7) at Kansas City Chiefs (6-1), 1:00 pm

Jets: Adam Gase’s club has scored only 85 points and the Jets’ offense has reached the end zone just seven times during the team’s dreadful start. The club has turned over the ball eight times, including seven interceptions by quarterbacks Sam Darnold (6) and Joe Flacco (1). But on the plus side, the Jets have totaled 10 takeaways.

Chiefs: Andy Reid’s team is proving it doesn’t have to play its best offensive football to win a game and do it in convincing fashion. Kansas City’s offense, defense and special teams all reach the end zone at Denver in the club’s 43-16 victory. The defense has given up its share of rushing yards but Reid’s club has also forced 13 turnovers.

Los Angeles Rams (5-2) at Miami Dolphins (3-3), 1:00 pm

Rams: There has been a revival when it comes to Sean McVay’s ground game this season as only six teams in the league are averaging more yards per game on the ground (138.9). That’s made life much easier for fifth-year quarterback Jared Goff, who has cut down on the turnovers this year (4) after giving up the ball 21 times in 2019.

Dolphins: This is another one of those teams that have rebounded sharply after losing their first two games. The club has scored a combined 98 points in three wins and 62 points in an equal number of setbacks. One season after finishing last in the NFL with 23 sacks, Brian Flores’ team has already totaled 17 quarterback traps this year.
