Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 49. NFC North. . Green Bay Packers. 1. player

Yes, this seems too perfect, right? The pride of Houston returns to Wisconsin, the place where it all began in little Pewaukee before becoming a phenom in Madison. Doesn’t that sound like something Hollywood came up with? Who cares, this has to happen for the Packers.

Despite Aaron Rodgers’ limited offensive arsenal, he’s still getting the job done with an average tight end and running back as his No. 2 target. The pass rush for Green Bay remains pretty average as the team currently has 15 sacks. Sure, the Super Smith Bros. are a quality 1-2 duo, but trios make a defense go from good to great.

Green Bay drafted the heir-apparent to Rodgers in Jordan Love, meaning at some point, the MVP is gone. Even though he’s a two-time league MVP, the 36-year-old has won a single Super Bowl. Watt will cost them multiple picks, but this shows the team’s willingness to contend in 2020.

For the legacy of one of the greatest to play the position, Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst have to go all-in on this season. They owe Rodgers one last shot to win a Lombardi at Lambeau.
