College football DFS quarterback picks October 31:

Top Tier:

This Missouri defense is be better than we think, but they also gave up 41 to LSU. I have no issue with Kyle Trask’s price, but I don’t think he should be higher than Justin Fields. Fields is the engine of the Ohio State offense where Dobbins was last year. He’s being priced down against the Penn State offense and shouldn’t be.

I also think Mac Jones has a better path to a huge game than Trask does. Mississippi State’s defense has struggled and is often put in precarious situations by their offense. Jones is nearly a lock here.

Middle Tier:

I really like both Spencer Rattler and Shane Buechele here too. Quarterback is a tough decision on this slate with so many good options. I feel like finding the right combination is going to decide the slate.

I like the Texas Tech quarterbacks too, but both may see action and Colombi likely has a short leash. Kellen Mond is a solid option on the cheap even against the Arkansas defense.

Bargain Shoppers:

If you need to go cheaper yet, Dalen Morris against SMU is not a horrible idea. He threw for 206 yards against Houston last week, which is really unusual for a Navy quarterback. Add to that the poor SMU run defense and we have a nice sleeper candidate.

Don’t be scared off by the Florida defense. Connor Bazelak still had a strong game against a good Kentucky defense. Florida has been gouged by a lot of offenses this year. Bazelak is a really good cheap option that doesn’t carry the risk that most priced around him do.
