5. Damien Harris (NE)

Game: New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (Sunday, 11/1, 1:00 pm EST)

This game is extremely pivotal to the forecast of the NFC East. Old vs. New.

The Patriots offense is in a rut — we get it. We do believe, though, it will re-emerge at some point. Bill Belichick is too brilliant to be the leader of a gruesome offense. Typically, this entails running back involvement for a Belichickian offense. Harris is a reasonable man for that job. We pick Harris against the Bills as a sleeper.

6. Le’Veon Bell (KC)

Game: New York Jets at Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, 11/1, 1:00 pm EST)

On this new Bell setup with Clyde Edwards-Helaire, think Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Bell will not usurp all the touches, but he will make an impact. If Ben Roethlisberger can maximize Bell’s talents, you can bet your rump that Mahomes can do it, too.

The Jets stink. This is a revenge game for Bell. Captain Obvious stuff — start Bell at RB2 or FLEX.

7. Jamaal Williams (GB)

Game: Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (Sunday, 11/1, 1:00 pm EST)

Minnesota’s defense is in a mature-on-the-fly mode. Some weeks it performs decently, other weeks it looks moronic. Aaron Jones’ status for Week 8 is unclear, and even if he plays, he could be on a pitch count.

Stick Williams in your lineup in hopes he will get some relief action for Jones at the very least.
