College football DFS quarterback picks October 31:

Top Tier:

This price for Zach Wilson is tough to swallow. He’s almost five figures in a game that promises to be a blowout. Will Wilson even play more than three quarters? It seems unlikely, and at this massive price, he’s going to need five touchdowns. It can happen, but there are better options.

Carson Strong threw for 420 yards on a Wyoming defense was that was pretty stingy last season. He looks like a new quarterback through one week and promises to put up some big numbers against a bad UNLV team.

Middle Tier:

With Kevaris Thomas out, the pendulum of the Western Kentucky quarterback slot has swung back to Maryland transfer Tyrrell Pigrome. Pigrome has struggled this year because he has no help from his line and little help from the other skill players. That’s a bad combination against a team like BYU. I like Pigrome’s rushing ability, but he is overpriced for the matchup.

Carson Baker wasn’t very accurate in the opener, but he also didn’t make any mistakes. We all know that the San Diego State quarterback is to be seen and not heard. Baker is a decent option for as long as he takes care of the ball.

Bargain Shoppers:

I feel like Tim Meadows in Walk Hard saying this. It’s the UNLV quarterback situation, Dewey. There is no clear leader and both will play. It’s a DFS nightmare. You don’t want no part of this s***.

Utah transfer Jason Shelley was hounded by Boise State all night in the opener and didn’t even reach 100 passing yards. Paying down at QB on this slate is a very risky proposition.
