3 players Minnesota Vikings should trade away before the deadline
Mike Hughes would actually be the guy that should be on the move, but with him on the injured reserve, it’s hard to imagine that now. Hill, the team’s new top corner, won’t bring in a massive payday, but he will bring value on special teams.
The departure of Trae Waynes and Mackensie Alexander has pushed Hill into a starting role for the new decade. Through four games that he’s been active, the former Longhorn product has tallied 24 tackles, three pass deflections and even registered a sack from off the edge. Overall an average cornerback in coverage, Hill’s a serviceable No.3 option in a defense that has an established secondary.
The Bills or Seahawks both need help on the outside with a lack of production and injuries. Hill would at least battle for reps and add competition in locker rooms that are trying to prove they can be a complete unit. Any pick Minnesota could garner for the 23-year-old defensive back is a win since he came to the team as an undrafted free agent.
